⚠️ High RiskElectrical System
TIPM Electrical Brain Failure
The Totally Integrated Power Module controls the fuel pump, wipers, windows, door locks, horn and other critical systems. When it fails on 2011 through 2015 Grand Cherokees the engine can stall at highway speed without warning, the car may refuse to start, and random electrical systems shut down unpredictably. A class action lawsuit was filed against Chrysler specifically over TIPM defects and Chrysler settled and recalled affected models.

⚠️ High RiskDrivetrain
8 Speed V6 Transmission Failure
The 2014 Grand Cherokee V6 uses an 8 speed automatic transmission notorious for shuddering when stopping, hard shifting between gears, and complete transmission failure before 60,000 miles. The V6 transmission is significantly less reliable than the V8 version. A class action lawsuit was settled covering related Fiat Chrysler transmission defects.
