⚠️ High RiskSuspension
Air Suspension System Failure
Every Range Rover Sport comes standard with air suspension and every owner will eventually face a significant repair bill for it. Rubber air bags dry rot and crack over time. The compressor overworks trying to compensate and ultimately fails too. The vehicle can sag dramatically to one side when the system gives out. One air spring replacement runs $1,700 and the compressor is $2,100. A full system failure at an independent shop easily exceeds $4,000 and considerably more at a Land Rover dealership.

⚠️ High RiskElectrical
Electrical System Failures and Infotainment Blackouts
The Range Rover Sport has a well documented reputation for electrical problems. Owners report the infotainment screen going completely black, random warning lights illuminating across the dashboard, unexplained battery drain leaving the vehicle stranded, and electronic modules failing without warning. Diagnosis alone costs $500 or more at a Land Rover dealer and many repairs require proprietary software available only at authorized dealerships.
